When I took over as creative director of the cidercade brand, the goal was to move beyond being “an arcade with drinks” to a full-scale FEC brand that appealed to both families and young adults.

I led the creation of a cohesive tone and visual identity that unified every brand touchpoint — from the in-person experience, with custom murals, wayfinding, digital menus, and neon installations, to the digital space, through bold content marketing, INtegrated Campaigns, a redesigned website, merch people actually want to wear, and a gamified loyalty app that rewards play.

A key part of Cidercade’s evolution was transforming its physical spaces into immersive brand environments that celebrated play and wonder. Through collaboration with our interior designer we elevated the experiential design across all locations, weaving together large-scale murals, custom wayfinding, dynamic digital menu systems, and sculptural neon installations to create a unified, instantly recognizable aesthetic.

Beyond elevating the atmosphere, each element was designed with purpose: to guide guests intuitively through the space, highlight food and beverage offerings, and encourage exploration. This holistic approach not only deepened brand affinity and shareability but also increased on-site awareness of Cidercade’s full range of experiences — from the bar and kitchen to activities and rewards.

EXPERIENTIAL design

Cidercade’s digital transformation extended the in-person energy of the brand into every online interaction. I led a complete overhaul of our digital ecosystem — from a redesigned, SEO driven, mobile-first website to a bold content strategy that brought the brand’s voice to life across social platforms.

We introduced cohesive visual standards and an irreverent yet welcoming tone that resonated with both families and young adults. The launch of a gamified loyalty app further bridged the digital and physical experience, rewarding engagement and driving repeat visits. AN INCREASED FOCUS ON TARGETED REMARKETING LED TO OVER 30% RETENTION GROWTH IN THE FIRST THREE MONTHS ALONE. Together, these efforts strengthened brand recognition, expanded reach, and turned online touchpoints into memorable extensions of the Cidercade experience.
